* If the encoder you have is with "**Firmware to MC**", then it can be upgraded with the "**Firmware to TV**". But after upgrading, the corresponding authorization will be invalid which needs further authorization and extra charges.
* If the encoder you have is with "**Firmware to TV**", then it cannot be ugpraded with the other firmwares related to **GK** or **MC**.
