Basic Settings

• Go to Configuration->Event->Intrusion Detection->Basic Settings

This tab allows the user to modify basic settings. Below is a screenshot of the Basic settings tab:

Explanation

Live stream of the video is shown in the detection area. The user can draw the security zone from the beginning to define the detected zone which will be the security zone, and will detect if the people come into.

To designate a zone, click and drag the mouse over the area desired. The area is enabled for intrusion detection when a colored box is displayed over the live feed.

• Sensitivity is the amount of change required to increase the motion detected by a percentage. The lower the sensitivity, the more movement is required to trigger an alarm.

• Scene mode: This dropdown box allows the user to select indoor, outdoor.

• Direction: This dropdown box allowes the user to select which direction like enter, left, both.

• Clear: Clicking the clear button to clear the settings.

• Restore Default: Restore the values to default setting.

• Refresh: Refresh the display of the settings’ value.

• Save: Save the settings.
